Seven stocks in the S & P 500 tend to rise alongside Tesla shares, according to an analysis of recent data by CNBC Pro . The share price performances of these S & P 500 stocks were highly correlated to Tesla's last month. However, unlike Tesla's more than 30% plunge this year, these stocks have either remained flat or have relatively modest negative returns. A correlation of zero would indicate no statistical link between the EV automaker's stock and the share price of the seven companies. The consensus upside potential for the stocks listed above was derived from FactSet's poll of analysts covering each stock.

First-quarter earnings season is just getting started, but investors may want to keep a close eye on a group of stocks at risk of a profit "blowup," according to Wolfe Research. The basket includes stocks that show up most often in the firm's short screens and filters companies based on earnings quality with 0 the worst and 100 the best. Tesla scores a 2 on Wolfe Research's earnings quality scale, showing up six times on the firm's short screens. New York CNN —Dealmaking is the lifeblood of Wall Street. But analysts say that funding cuts in the plan could end up harming mergers and acquisitions on Wall Street, squashing hopes of a recovery in dealmaking. The bad news: Recent regulations and proposed budget cuts threaten to step on those green shoots before they’re able to flower. Why it matters: Dealmaking isn’t just good for Wall Street. Shares of the stock are down nearly 30% so far this year after its seemingly nonstop streak of bad luck.

‘Kung Fu Panda 4’ Review: Trouble in Juniper City

The halfhearted search for Po’s replacement is cut short with the arrival of a thieving fox, Zhen (Awkwafina). As Po and Zhen set out for the Chameleon’s palace in faraway Juniper City, Po’s two guardians — his biological father, Li Shan (Bryan Cranston) and adopted father, Mr. Ping (James Hong) — follow him in comical pursuit. Witty gags abound (there’s a standout “bull in the china shop” sequence), and Black and Awkwafina make a charming lead duo, particularly when Po encounters the sights, sounds and bountiful food of Juniper City. Still, don’t expect a total downgrade: This is an enjoyable “Kung Fu Panda” movie, even if it’s missing some of the pizazz of the earlier ones. Kung Fu Panda 4Rated PG.

Black women make up less than 10% of the U.S. population, but they've emerged as the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs, new research from GoDaddy has found. The number of Black women-owned businesses in the U.S. was trending upward even before the Covid-19 pandemic, which accelerated entrepreneurship overall. Between 2017 and 2020, the number of Black women-owned businesses increased by nearly 20%, far exceeding the growth of women-owned businesses and Black-owned businesses overall, the Brookings Institution reports. Ofodu's decision to leave Instagram reflects a larger trend of Black women ditching corporate jobs and flocking to entrepreneurship for more freedom, fulfillment and flexibility in their careers. Brendan Mcdermid | ReutersThe stock market keeps scaling new heights as investors focus on the good and ignore the bad, no matter how bad the bad parts might look sometimes. Prospects for a slowing economy, geopolitical unrest and turmoil in Washington aren't scaring market participants largely because none of those threats have turned into much in reality. As it has digested the various headwinds and tail winds, the market is pushing toward a record closing high. Along with commentary from multiple Fed officials, the tight labor market has taken some of the steam of out the market's anticipation for rate cuts this year. Where the market a week ago was nearly certain the Fed would start cutting in March and keep going with six more quarter percentage point moves this year, pricing shifted Friday.

The combination of 5G and IoT devices can be a boon for businesses. Here, experts advise how to tamp down the risks of integrating IoT devices into your 5G network. "IoT devices are appealing targets for cybercriminals because of their always-on nature," Steve Jacques, a consulting engineer at Juniper Networks, told Insider. IoT devices can integrate with the network — unless you segment them offAnother issue is that IoT devices integrate deeply with networks, passing data to and from your core network. Because of their consumer focus, many IoT devices are not designed with security in mind and may contain vulnerabilities or weak default configurations.

Arista reported third-quarter revenue of $1.51 billion, a 28.3% increase from a year earlier, beating Street expectations of $1.48 billion. Rival Juniper Networks also beat estimates for third-quarter revenue last week, on the back of upbeat spending from cloud computing clients.
